biscoPro Beam is a estimating, quoting, optimisation, and production management system for welded beam manufacturers built on the biscoPro development framework.
It is easy to learn and fast to use ensuring that beams are quoted or detailed quickly and accurately and then produced on time, on specification, and budget.
An integrated optimiser ensures that your quotes allow for the correct steel cost for a beam taking into allowance not only scrap but the loss of value into off cuts. When you win the job the same optimiser ensures that make best possible use of the available steel.

Cut plate
The system can handle parallel, tapered, pre cambered, and curved beams. It can place cut outs or holes in webs or flanges, cope the ends, and set back or extend the flanges or webs. The user can choose to add splices in any part either as plates or parts.
The 3D model then "explodes" into the component parts for costing and cutting optimisation. Once detailed, the user can produce production documentation including drawings in PDF or printed form, part labels, beam labels, plate pick lists, cutting lists etc. It can produce beam specific operating procedures including machine settings.
The system can produce quality assurance documents with pre calculated tolerances and inspection requirements. It can track material and welder test certificates back to each beam.
A built in integrated document management system allows users to centrally manage all of the drawings, emails, and document related to a project.
The integrated business management system allows for job back costing, managing external suppliers or contractors using purchase orders, and management of plate inventory. The system can connect to back off accounting systems for general ledger, creditors, and debtors management and interface to production machinery.
