Inspection Administration
Processing Consents
You need to run the Process Consents to bring them into biscoPro from Pathway. Currently this process is initiated manually but we will put an automatic process in place once everything has settled down. The manual process will remain should it be required.
Click the drop down on the Create Inspections button and then select Batch Process. Navigate to the folder where the Web Service creates the XML Consent files and press OK. The system will now process the consent records.
Once all records are processed you can run the New Inspections report either from Create Inspections button or the Reports button. This shows a listing of inspections added after the selected date.
It shows if the inspections has the correctly qualified inspector or if it needs supervision.
If there are inspections on the Unassigned Contact that means the inspection was assigned to an inspector that doesn't exist in biscoPro (possibly because a CSR picked a non inspector in Pathway). You will need to reassign this inspection to a valid inspector (covered in another section of the training). If the inspector was valid you will need to contact the IT Technical team to establish why the inspector is missing.
Setting Up Inspectors
As Pathway only hold a limited amount of information about inspectors when a new inspector is added in Pathway it also needs to be set up in biscoPro.
The main requirement is setting the corerct License Category. To do this:

Click on the Company node in the Main Form primary navigator

Double click on Thames Coromandel Council.

Then click on the Contacts tab and locate the new Inspector.

Double click on that inspectors record to edit it.

Click on the Partner Defaults tab, select the correct license type.

If their license has a number and expiry date enter this

Press Save and Close
