Projects
As biscoPro is aimed at project centric businesses the Project module is the central focus for many of the processes.
The Project holds the address. the customer, has a FileStore to manage the documents and allows to you access or create other information for the project using various functions and tools.
Project uses a tree to navigate the information held in biscoPro:
-
BIM Models - the Building Information Models
-
Contacts* - people that are involved with this project
-
Details - address and other basic details, displays the project FileStore. Also has a Stats tab for project statistics
-
Tasks - track activities time, and work
-
Issues - issues raised
-
FileStore - an integrated document management system
* Note biscoPro allows your system administrator to customise the names of some terms within the system to suit your business. Therefore some of the labels might be different to the terms we use here. The name for the main Project module can also change.
BIM Models
biscoPro uses the BIM or Building Information Model to hold the specific details of the project. The BIM model can be created by either:
-
Importing a BIM model from a CAD BIM authoring application like Autodesk Revit or Graphisoft ArchiCAD
-
Creating a model using a custom biscoCAD tool
-
Manually creating a data only BIM model
Clicking on the BIM node shows a list of the BIM models associated with the project. Clicking on the BIM model shows the plan for the model and the elements within it. Right click on the model to view, add, edit, or delete the BIM model.
