Processing Work and Expenses to Job Costs
Client invoicing and profitability management are done from the Cost Control Model. This process step passes the relevant information from the tasks and work record through to the Cost Control module.
The biscoPro Cost Control module allows you to budget and managed time related costs along with any other project related costs.
The task and diary modules allow you to create the base task and work information and this is passed across to the Cost Control module when you are ready.
Once you have created your task budget or recorded work against tasks you go to the Cost Control module and run the Task Wizard to process the information from Tasks and Work.

The process is the same if you are creating a task related budget or capturing actual cost ready for time billing.
Task Wizard
1. Open the Control Module
2. Click on the Wizards button and select Task Wizard
3. Choose if you are creating a budget or capturing actual costs
4. The grid will show a list of either budget items or work records that are ready for processing. Choosing the All Unallocated shows all items that have not been processed, order you can select items within a date range. Select the records you want to process now and click next.
Once you have processed the billing information from a work record it becomes read only. You can edit the cost information in the Cost Control module but the work record is now locked.
5. This will show you the Cost Control information that has been created - either a budget or the actual costs. Press Save and Close
6. You can now view the information in the Cost Control module. If you click on the Budget node you will see the budgets that you have created. If you click on the Task Costs node you will see the cost information.
You can edit this information up until the costs are invoiced when they become read only.
